Head of the Accounting Department

Duties and responsibilities:
Head of the accounting department and responsible for the organisation and the effective operation of the accounting department of the Fund, as well as for the programming, coordination and effective transaction of the accounting works of the Fund.
Responsible to keep the appropriate books of account and to draw up the final accounts of the Fund.
To prepare the monthly balance sheets and statistical tables to be submitted before the General manager.
To prepare and reconcile the final accounts of the Fund to be submitted before the General Manager.
To carry out any other work assigned by the General Manager.
1. Accounting system
a.Control of the updating of the accounting system with all registrations and preparation of Trial Balance every month.
b. Preparation of reports on balances of members, balances of loans, payments, deposits, balance of the General Account, repayments of loans, income arising from interest, rents and dividends.
c. Preparation of reconciliations.
d. Preparation of the monthly payroll.
e. Submission of the Accounts of the Fund to the competent authorities.
2. Transactions of the Provident Fund
a. Control of all transactions made to the General Account.
b. Examination of invoices, loan applications and withdrawals from the Fund and control of all calculations for the issuance of cheques.
c. Incorporation of the interest in the loans at the end of each year.
d. Conduct of controls over the transactions and statements of the Provident Fund.
3. Operation of the Fund
a. Service provided to members whenever requested.
